We met in the night

our bodies touched..

but our souls became one.

We were each lonely

wandering in the dark

searching,

hurting,

and we clung to each other in fear of the pain

we danced and dreamed

we laughed and cried

desparately grasping at shadows...

but daylight came and the sun was our enemy

for it chased away the shadows

that we were sure we had caught.

So, my friend,

Do we go on separately needing

and still searching

or do we stay together

and kill each other with our pain?
